In my mind, this blog is such a welcome addition to the Blogosphere. I've been blogging since 2004. I've read many blogs since then. This blog is one of the few that is STILL able to make me quietly go, "wow".
TumainiKids appears to be the first blog on the Internet written by OVCs (orphans and vulnerable children), and is part of the Hope Runs project. To find out more, visit HopeRuns.org or TrippingOnWords.com!
Hope Runs works to empower children in impoverished communities with an understanding of personal health, social entrepreneurship and technology through running. On-site service learning coaches lead daily running programs, while also organizing an internationally-attended race that calls global attention to the community and its unique challenges.
Make a tax-deductible donation to the Hope Runs program for AIDS orphans at Tumaini!
