Hi Karicho! I am Gabrielle. Lara is my sister-in-law. I hope very much that one day I will be able to visit Tumaini. Perhaps we will meet. Of course your mother thinks of you. Good luck with your studies!
Karicho, hello.
I read that traditionally Kikuyu name boys after the grandfather or a brother of one of the grandparents. Is that the story behind your name?
My grandfather was a pilot and as a boy I was fascinated by how a plane takes flight. What sparked your interest in aeronautical engineering? Are you able to study engineering at the school there? In the U.S. that is a university-level subject.

Hi Karicho,
This is Amalia - I'm good friends with Lara and Claire. We went to college together, and I'm hoping to visit them (and the rest of you!) in a few months. I just did a Google search on "Aeronautical engineering" because I didn't know much about it, and I found this cool site:
ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/Aeronautics-and-Astronautics
It's a site that a really good US college has put up so that people around the world can have access to its course materials for free. And there's TONS of stuff relating to Aeronatics. Pretty cool stuff, huh? Just thought I'd send it your way!
Cheers,
Amalia
Karicho! This is Brian! It is great to get to read your words. Katie and I miss you all so much and think about you and pray for you daily. We have some exciting news to share - we are having a baby next October! We are very happy about this and ask that you pray for Katie's health during the pregnancy.
I often wonder if you are still playing the piano and if you remember my suggestion for getting people to play you in chess (which is the only way you'll ever lose). You were such a blessing to our lives while we lived at Tumaini, You must be enjoying your final year as a Form 4 now. We will pray for your continued academic success. You are an amazing person Karicho. God Bless.
Your Friend in Christ Forever,
Brian

Dear Karicho, your name is beautiful. And yes, your mother thinks of you no matter where you are. I know this is true because I am a mother. I have 2 daughters. One is 21, and the other is about to be 20, like you. Both of them attend college far away from me, but I talk to them by phone and email almost every day.
I will come back to read the other posts on this website later today. Right now, I must get ready for work. (I am a teacher. I teach first grade.)
Have a lovely day, and please tell your fellow bloggers that I am sorry I can't stay to leave more comments right now.
Hello James Karicho,
I have sent a message to Lisa and I asked her to read your comments on this blog.
We hope that you are doing well in your last year of secondary school.
Love & Blessings,
Mr & Mrs. Parker
I just came to this blog by chance. Karicho, may your wish of becoming an aeronautical engineer come true
