"Hero Book", by Maureen (11)
by Maureen, 11
Today I learnt about a hero book. I knew it was very good even when I can get of the gate. If somebody can ask me what is a my hero I can say my hero is to pray to God and to become a doctor.
Today I drew cucu [the grandmother of Tumaini Children's Home] and guka [the reverend and founder of the Tumaini Children's Home; guka means grandfather] when they are my heros.
I would like to be a good hero. When I grow up. Goodbye.

Hello Maureen,
I liked your message. When I was at school, a teacher said to me, "Don't look for heroes, be one." I finished school ten years ago and I don't think I'm a hero to anyone, but I still try to do things that my heroes would do.
I will hope that your prayers come true and you will be a doctor. You would be a hero to me.
Hi Maureen,
You have chosen most excellent heroes. Though I have never met the grandmother and grandfather of Tumaini Children's Home, I have learned a little bit about them through the words of Lara and Claire.
When you grow up you will most surely be a good hero, especially with the leaders and heroes in your life today.
Keeping the ideas and actions of your heros close to your thoughts as you move through life is very helpful.
we can't give up heroes
Thanks for sharing this
